Good job! Thanks for sharing it with us
That’s a great point – thanks for chiming in!
Remember, social spheres are blogs. Twit is an great place to get one’s message out about his/her brand. The same goes for the other social spheres. People love a great story, and the psychographic images add depth. Own the hashtag(s) own the story.
It just depends on why you’re doing it in the first place. Fun? Traffic? Money? Networking? Fame? List building? Whichever goals you decide on will likely shape what kind of content you create, who you create it for, how often you publish new content and how often you try to monetize your content. It’s definitely been a worthwhile pursuit for me – but for the first few years, it certainly felt questionable. It takes a LONG time of writing and publishing good stuff before the world starts to take notice.
Thanks Carol! The interaction is what makes this whole blogging thing so fun. 🙂
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I hadn’t thought much about it – but I think you’re totally right, comments are very important… and when they aren’t present, it totally kills the dialogue and potential value that readers can extract from the site. Thanks again for sharing that with us so eloquently. 🙂
Your blog is very useful for finding real estate blogs .i have never found a blog like this .thank you .
What’s sad is that majority of the blogs listed are trying to control the conversation. Blogs are a form of social interaction. When commenting is turned off [especially on a website], the blog author is not speaking to its audience; however, the blog is speaking to itself. Does nothing really for SEO either because the bots know that zero interaction hold little to no value for searchers. Working with buyers and sellers provides me with optics from their POV. Call me crazy, but I find open dialogue with value helps build trust when it comes to RE. It makes the whole process easier for buyers and sellers to ask questions in full hope to read a response. Someone else out there has the same question looking for a solution.
Thanks for your complied list Seth. It reinforced my focus for how I can better meet the demands of today’s savvy buyers and sellers.
